Even though we still have several weeks before the event, we want to put out a call to action as we work toward the Hollywood Meets Nashville Grammy Night Viewing Party and Benefit Gala. Our event committee is asking for volunteers to help us pull off what we hope will become the event of the season. We are looking for assistance in a number of areas, including in-kind sponsorship (swag bags), restaurant coordination, audio/visual and on-site production.
The event will be featuring a Taste of Nashville style food sampling with numerous restaurants donating food at stations that they will be manning and promoting. Volunteers will be needed in the coordination of these restaurant stations.
We would like volunteer assistance in the procuring and coordinating of items for our celebrity gift bags and silent auction items.
We need people who want to assist on the day of the event, people experienced with audio/video equipment, who can help make the broadcast experience, the best ever for our guests.
If you would like to be a part of this incredible event, please send an e-mail to email@example.com and let us know which sub-committee you would like to volunteer for – restaurant coordination, celebrity gift bags, audio/visual or on-site production assistance.
The Hollywood Meets Nashville Grammy Night Viewing Party and Benefit Gala will be an incredible evening of entertainment, food, spirits, music and of course, the 55th Annual Grammy Awards telecast on big screen TV!
The event will benefit three deserving charities, America’s All Stars, Colby’s Army, and the Alliance for Recreational Empowerment. Each organization is assisting Nashville’s young people in its own inimitable way. America’s All Stars is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating activities that encourage young people to serve others through enjoyable community service projects that build character. Colby’s Army educates and supports young people with mental illnesses, addictions and emotional problems. The Alliance for Recreational Empowerment serves children with disabilities enjoy the wonders of summer camp.
The Hollywood Meets Nashville Grammy Night Viewing Party and Benefit Gala will give invited guests the opportunity to enjoy the music awards telecast in an exciting environment with extraordinary people, while supporting three of the areas most worthwhile charities.
The Alliance for Recreational Empowerment will be one of the charities that we will be supporting at our next Hollywood Meets Nashville event. This wonderful foundation provides a week-long summer camp and other recreational and educational activities for kids with disabilities. At the camp, the children can swim, ride horses, boat, and a number of other fun activities that are usually denied them due to their disabilities.
This amazing organization is just one of the children’s charities that we will be raising money for with our next event, the Hollywood Meets Nashville Grammy Night Viewing Party. This red carpet event will be another opportunity for the creative community of Nashville to gather together for an evening of good food, great music and unparalleled networking, while raising money to help the children of Tennessee. There will be much more on the event in subsequent posts, but please take a moment to learn more about A.R.E. by visiting their website, http://allianceforrecreationalempowerment.com/pages/events.php. It is our sincere wish that all of our readers support these worthy organizations, by donating time, money or support in any way you can. I know that the children will appreciate it.

Hollywood Meets Nashville events have already raised funds for Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee, Angel Flight, St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Second Chance Foundation. Our biggest event yet was in June, when 300 people partied at the LaBella Mansion in East Nashville in support of America’s All Stars and the Second Chance Foundation. The event was held on June 4th, to kick off CMA week in Nashville. Entertainment was provided by 22 musical artists on three different stages and four local caterers/restaurant supplied the amazing food. The press was out in full force and we received some amazing reviews! Check it out!! http://barefootdreamingmedia.com/2012/06/07/cma-fest-2012-kicks-off-in-nashville-tennessee/
